  3. Aww, if they're over 30, does that count as 'future'?

  5. Graf #1 Hand assignment

At first glance my hands are the same as most of yours, five fingers, five nails some veins covered with skin attached to my arm. With a closer look I notice chewed finger nails and a slight shaking representing my nervousness and inability to sit still. My knuckles are rough like sandpaper and scared to the bone. I remember those scares well and how they came to be. You may say there from the days when I worked construction, and laid hardwood floors. Well you would be right, hard working hands trying to make an honest living, but what you would not know about my scared knuckles is how I spent Ten years training these hands to fight, and defend. The long days in the dojo striking hard targets until my hands were soaked in blood.
Now I turn them over and see palms with calluses on top of calluses. Ridges that look like mountain ranges. I recall long days in the gym working hard to win that state title adding yet more character to these hands of leather. I see long white scares that have long been healed. I hear Pepe saying "son be careful with that knife you don't want to cut yourself".

These are some of the stories my hands will tell about me what will your hands say about you?

  6. You do what I look for in this assignment: first some physical description and then you build on those details to explain the meaning behind what someone could observe. That's what this first graf is all about.
